FIELD: production of lithium and aluminum inorganic compound.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the field of production of lithium and aluminum inorganic compound, which may be used for manufacture of electrolytic plates of fuel cells with a carbonaceous electrolyte and production out of powder of a ceramic material, fit for use in the nuclear energy technology. The method of production of lithium gamma-aluminate includes commixture of lithium carbonate with the aluminum compound and heat treatment of the mixture. In the capacity of an aluminum compound is taken sodium hydroalumo carbonate, and the heat treatment of the mixture is carried out at the temperature of 650-900°C. The invention allows to produce a single-phase lithium gamma-aluminate with purity above 99 %, to reduce fusing temperature, to increase a specific surface of a final product, to simplify fusing process.

EFFECT: the invention ensures production of a single-phase lithium gamma-aluminate with purity above 99 %, reduction of fusing temperature, increased specific surface of the final product, simplification of the fusing process.
