FIELD: electrical engineering; low-voltage vacuum circuit-opening devices. SUBSTANCE: at least two depressions in the form of communicating cavities filled with low-melting alloy are made on contacting surface of butt-end contact made of high-melting material. Contact manufacturing process includes separate molding of contact holder and inner ring with slots from powdered materials, connection of ring to holder while agglomerating and impregnating them with alloy of high electric conductivity. Depressions of blank obtained in the process are filled with low-melting alloy. EFFECT: facilitated manufacture; reduced high-melting material waste. 2 cl, 5 dwg
