FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: power-generating channel of a heat emission reactor-converter comprises a multilayer metal-ceramic collector package, the inner layer of which is separated with ceramic insulation into several sections producing collectors and emitters installed inside the collector package. Emitters with collectors are electrically connected with the help of switching buses and are electrically insulated from each other with the help of spacing elements. At the same time spacing elements are arranged in the form of rings or discs, on the end surfaces of which, free of contact with electrodes, there are circular cavities arranged, the ratio of depth to width in which makes at least 10:1. The similar system of spacing elements protection prevents ingress of electroconductive materials that reduce electric resistance of spacing elements onto their surfaces free of contact with electrodes.
EFFECT: increased service life and higher reliability of power-generating channels due to reduction of losses of power generated by power-generating elements.
