BELT CONVEYOR Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2209753 C1

FIELD: conveyor engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to long conveyors and it can be used in designing of main line, lifting, decline and slope conveyors for mining industry. Proposed belt conveyor contains belt with carrying and return runs closed on drive, tension and decline drums, with arrangement of tension drum on trolley coupled with counterweight by means of cable system and deflecting blocks, and frame. Trolley is installed for traveling along guides. Loop section is formed in zone of drive drum on belt return run by means of head deflecting and two return drums. One return drum is arranged on trolley to provide movement of trolley along guides. Trolley is mechanically coupled with trolley of tension drum by means of multiple-reeved pulley block. Movable casing of pulley block is secured on trolley on return drum, and fixed casing is secured on conveyor frame. Cable of pulley block is arranged with clearance in ring guides of conveyor frame, and its free end is secured on trolley of tension drum. EFFECT: increased reliability of belt conveyor owing to reduction of dynamic loads, provision of guaranteed tension of belt in zone of its running off from drive drum. 1 dwg
