FIELD: construction of conveyors, in particular, inclined belt conveyors furnished with catching device.

SUBSTANCE: inclined belt conveyor includes belt defining load-bearing and idle runs, said belt being closed in endless manner on upper drive end drum and lower end drum, and also on two rotating and tension drums, and catching device. Tension drum is equipped with hanger having tension load. Catching device includes two steel wire cable branches, said cable being fixed on conveyor frame. Cable branches are freely arranged in clearances between central and side rollers of trough roller supports of belt load-bearing run. Each of cable branches is pinched on supporting members of levers pivotally fixed on conveyor belt and are closed on block mounted for rotation on frame of lower end drum. Free ends of both cable branches run around deflecting blocks positioned for rotation in zone where tension device is mounted, and are fixed on yoke for cooperation thereof from the bottom with stop fixed on conveyor frame. Yoke is connected through flexible member with hanger of tension device.

EFFECT: increased efficiency owing to the possibility of catching torn belt of inclined belt conveyor, furnished with vertical load tension device, in upper part of conveyor.
