FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: raw material is heated, separated into light fractions and heavy residue in evaporator. Light fractions are further fractioned on rectification column together with vapor-liquid coking products, heavy residue from evaporator is mixed with still residue obtained at fractionation on rectification column, after which preheated mixture is coked, amount and quality of still residue being controlled by dozed feeding of cooling gas oil into mass-exchange devices in lower part of rectification column and still residue being passed into upper part of evaporator provided with mass-exchange devices.
