SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of producing a coking additive by delayed coking, involving feeding starting material, after heating, into a self-contained section of a fractionation column for mixing with heavy gas oil as recycling product and forming secondary material which is heated in a reaction-heating furnace and feeding into a coking chamber, where a coking additive and vapour-liquid coking products are formed. The latter are fractionated in a fractionation column to form a gas, gasoline, light and heavy gas oil and a coking still residue. In the first version, before feeding into a coking chamber, the secondary material is mixed with calcium oxide and/or hydroxide as a modifier, which is premixed with heavy gas oil in ratio of (25-35):(65-75). In the second version, calcium oxide and/or hydroxide is added to the still residue as a modifier, which is premixed with heavy gas oil in ratio of (25-35):(65-75), after which the still residue is either mixed with the secondary material before feeding into the coking chamber or is fed immediately into the coking chamber. Content of the modifier fed into the coking chamber in any of the versions is equal to 0.5-10.0 wt % per starting material.

EFFECT: additive is used as a coking additive in a coal coking mixture to obtain oil coke with content of volatile substances in the range of 15-25 wt %.
