FIELD: oil producing industry; applicable in development since early stage of oil pools characterized by nonuniform reservoirs of various rocks, particularly, zonal nonuniform reservoirs, reservoirs with formations of different permeability, or porous-fractured reservoirs. SUBSTANCE: method includes injection of displacing agent with use of one or several injection wells. OIL is withdrawn with use of one or several producing wells. Field data on operation of each well are registered. With beginning of water cutting of oil in producing wells, development of pool is carried out in cycle regime. In subsequent rise of water cutting of oil up to 50-70%, at least one of injection and/or producing well is shu-in. Subject to registration is response of oil pool to well shut-in with respect to pool area and/or its output by increase of product amounts and/or oil withdrawal rate from producing wells, reduction of oil water cutting and/or oil gas cutting; and subsequent putting into operation of shut-in wells. Oil pool response zones by area are singled out, and regimes of cycle operation is varied respectively in singled-out zones. EFFECT: higher efficiency of method due to introduction of additional nonstationarity of random character into cycle regime with extension of stimulation potentialities of oil pool, operative and reliable singling-out of dead oil-saturated zones in pool beginning since early stage of development, and subsequent purposeful cycle stimulation of said zones under active conditions. 9 cl
