FIELD: automotive industry; automobile electrical equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ignition systems of internal combustion engines with forced ignition of fuel-air mixture. Proposed device contains integrated circuit including means for limiting output current and steplessly switching off output current when engine is shut down, electronic switches, output current metering device, OR gate, auxiliary switches. Inputs of OR gate are connected to inputs of said device and output, to input of integrated circuit whose output is connected to inputs of auxiliary switches. Control inputs of auxiliary switches are connected to inputs of said device, and outputs, to control inputs of electronic switches. EFFECT: reduced cost of device without changing functional characteristics and affecting reliability. 3 dwg
