FIELD: structural members of artillery guns, in particular, locking devices providing for holding the charge at loading. SUBSTANCE: the breechblock has a wedge installed for movement in the plane perpendicular to the axis of the barrel chamber, and a retainer having a body, trough and a double-arm lever. The trough is installed for engagement with the wedge, and by means of a hinge it is coupled with the double-arm lever installed for displacement of its end into the barrel chamber. EFFECT: provided holding of the charge in the barrel chamber and prevented its drop-out from the chamber at loading. 2 cl, 1 dwg
