FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with capturing intraocular lens above patient's cornea and its flexing. For this purpose, lens is placed upon cornea of operated eye. Lens should be lifted with one hand above cornea, for example, with the help of binding pincers. Lens should be kept by haptic element and viscoprotector should be applied onto lens' surfaces. Then lens is taken by another hand with pincers for implantation along supporting elements. Pincers for flexing intraocular lens is held at fixed diverged branches. Lens is introduced into grooves designed at pincers' free branches and which develop a groove between its branches. After capturing the lens, branches should be squeezed and after flexing lens should be capture with pincers for implantation. Free ends of pincers' branches for flexing intraocular lens have the possibility to be diverged for fixed distance for certain type-size of lens, and grooves have got the length being equal to mean size of implanted type-sizes of lens with prolonged supporting walls designed for convenient lens' insertion into grooves. As a result, technology for preparing flexible intraocular lens for implantation is simplified, procedure time is shortened and ocular fixed position of intraocular flexible lens is achieved in pincers' grooves that provides symmetric lens' flexing. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
