FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology and can be applied in carrying out operation of intraocular lens removal. After performing 2.2 mm wide cornea tunnel section and introduction of viscoprotector, flexible intraocular lens is placed in front chamber of eye parallel to front surface of crystalline lens, is brought to tunnel section and one of its haptic elements or edge of lens is brought out through tunnel section. Haptic element of lens or its edge is caught by pincers for tying. Collet scissors are introduced into tunnel section and farther into anterior eye chamber. Branches of scissors are opened, lens is brought to them, and placed between branches and brought out haptic element of lens or its edge is pulled by with holding the scissors. Lens, passing through scissors branches is cut into two longitudinal fragments, which after separation are by turns removed through tunnel section.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce trauma of performed manipulation of intraocular lens removal, because there is no necessity in multiple carrying out manipulations of removed lens separation, including instrument rotation.
