FIELD: metallurgy; construction of blast furnaces. SUBSTANCE: blast furnace hearth has lining made from thick-plate steel with at least one layer of refractory brickwork located inside it; lining is connected to layer (layers) of brickwork by means of seams filled with binding mortar and/or seams filled with ramming mass. Metal bars located in furnace wall pass in circumferential direction inside lining projecting into wall; said bars are connected with external side of lining by means of fasteners running through lining. Each assembly unit including metal bar and its fasteners forms together with lining unit in vertical direction possessing sufficient elasticity for maintenance of intersurface contact along horizontal surfaces between metal bars and bricks during operation. EFFECT: increased heat transfer from hot side of furnace wall. 18 cl, 4 dwg
