FIELD: mechanized track tools for work in field conditions, particularly, devices for drilling holes in rails for rolling stock. SUBSTANCE: drilling machine has body, clamp for engagement with rail, mounted in body driving shaft, driven spindle and gear transmissions, drill attached to spindle end facing rail. Drilling machine also has post engageable with rail head and root and clamp members, lever hinged to post, installed on lever body with driving shaft and drive handle and driven spindle with drill interconnected successively by gear transmissions. Located on body opposite to drive handle is hand pedal. Foot pedal is secured opposite to body. Installed on intermediate shaft transmitting motion to spindle is disk with weight distributed over its rim. EFFECT: simplified portable rail drilling machine design reduced specific consumption of materials, and time for preparatory operations. 1 dwg
