FIELD: railway transport: track instruments.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to portable rail drilling and drilled hole strengthening machine tools. Such machine tools can be used for drilling and strengthening drilled hole for track bolts and rail fasteners in through hardened and non-hardened rails type P50, P65, P75. Proposed portable rail drilling machine tool has housing, hollow spindle, hollow spindle drive with spindle rotation and feed mechanisms, control mechanism and clamping device consists of screw rail stop-grip with clamp replaceable templates. Spindle rotation drive is made in form of hydraulic motor installed on housing and mechanically coupled with spindle made in form of bushing installed in bearing and mandrel with longitudinal slots installed in bushing for axial displacement which accommodates retainer rigidly secured in bushing. Spindle feed mechanism drive is made in form of hydraulic cylinder with rod rigidly secured on housing coaxially to out shaft of hydraulic motor in space of which coupling and bearing of bushing are arranged, and shell installed for movement relative to rod and arranged concentrically relative to rod and provided with flanges to form two working chambers. Shell is mechanically coupled with mandrel of spindle to transmit axial displacement.

EFFECT: simplified design, reduced mass of machine tool, provision of stepless adjustment of speed of rotation and feed of tool.
