FIELD: precision tool engineering, in particular engineering of gyroscopes, possible use for engineering gyro-compasses of analytical type.
SUBSTANCE: during gyro-compassing with utilization of gyroscopic angular speed indicator with autonomous and algorithmic compensation of its drift gyroscope is set to first beginning position, at which measuring axis of first gyroscope channel coincides with longitudinal axis of object, measuring axis of second channel of gyroscope is directed along axis of object, positioned in its symmetry plane, and indications of gyroscope are recorded in aforementioned position, then gyroscope is set to second position by rotating its body around measuring axis of first channel for 180° and gyroscope indications are recorded in second position, after that gyroscope is transferred from second position to third position as a result of rotation of its axis around native rotation axis for 180° and gyroscope indications are recorded in third position, then angle of true course of object is calculated by means of analytical expression, using information: about voltages from standard resistors of gyroscope in three positions and its remainder drift after automatic-compensation, about angles of inclination of sensitivity axes by pitch and bank, about angular speed of earth rotation, gravity force acceleration and object position latitude.
EFFECT: improved efficiency.
