FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for measurement of deformation of mobile members of structure of machines and mechanisms and can be used in turbine manufacture for contact-free measurement of vibrations of blades, radial clearances, for indication of fatigue strength, damage or breakage of blade. Specific features of method consist in mounting of optoelectronic and eddy-current pickups in frame of turbine, in recording of radiation flux reflected from face surfaces of blades, in measurement of time intervals between centers of pulses of pickups, in measurement of clearance between face surfaces of blades and frame of motor with the aid of eddy-current pickup and in determination of deformation value with due account of these parameters by angular position of face surfaces of blades. Type of vibration of blades is found by value of movement of face surface of blade and its angular position. Gear for implementation of method has radiation source, eddy-current pickup, exciters uniformly positioned over circumference of disc of blade wheel and corresponding to root sections of blades, pulse pickup and aid determining deformation value and type of vibration of blades.
