FIELD: automotization of rolling processes, namely controlling planeness of rolled strips. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes device for measuring distribution of tension in portions along width of strip after last rolling pass; unit for processing signals; control computer; unit for automatization of technological process; device for controlling planeness. Each of said units has actuating mechanism; device for visualization of tension distribution along width of strip and unit for controlling actuating mechanisms of device for controlling planeness. Each unit for controlling actuating mechanisms is connected with unit for automatization of technological process by means its own circuit. Apparatus also includes device for measuring temperature distribution along width of strip, second unit for processing signals and adder. Outlets of devices for measuring distribution of temperature and tension are connected with inlets of first and second units for processing signals. Outlets of units for processing signals are connected with inlets of adders and with inlets of device for visualization. Outlets of adder are connected with inlets of control computer and of visualization device respectively. EFFECT: enlarged functional possibilities of apparatus for measuring and controlling, improved effectiveness of controlling planeness of strips, reduced number of surface defects. 2 dwg, 1 ex
