Mixture of isomers of E- and Z-(9)-tetradecenyl acetate enriched with Z-(9)- tetradecenyl acetate in the amount 80-99.5 wt.-% shows antiulcerous, cardioprotective and antishock effects. Medicinal agent based on thereof comprises a mixture of isomers of E- and Z-(9)-tetradecenyl acetate taken in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: Z-(9)-tetradecenyl acetate, 80-99.5; E-(9)- tetradecenyl acetate, the balance, and pharmaceutically acceptable excipients.
