HEARTH BURNER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: hearth horizontal-slit single-tube burners with forced draught to burn gaseous fuel. SUBSTANCE: invention an find use in heating sectional boilers, dryers and other heat supplying aggregates in which coal is used as reserve fuel. Hearth burner includes tunnel formed by blocks of refractory material housing gas collector with two rows of holes arranged in staggered order and air supply conduit. Air supply conduit comes in the form of air duct of rectangular section with slit located in its wedge-shaped part, beneath holes of gas collector. Blocks of refractory material and gas collector are attached to air duct. Invention makes it possible to distribute temperatures uniformly over length of furnace, to improve formation of mixture, to enhance efficiency and quality of gas burning ( air excess coefficient α = 1,05-1,2, low effluent of nitrogen oxides 90-120 mg/cu m ), to shorten length of flame. EFFECT: simplified operation, potential for fitting burner with adjustment and safety automatics. 4 dwg
