FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: slit burner with forced air supply comprises an air distribution box with an air feed channel, connected to a blow fan, a slit channel formed by blocks of refractory material and connected to an air feed channel, guide walls installed in the air feed channel, double-tubed collector, each tube of which contains one row of gas-discharge holes, each of which is turned at an angle of 45° with respect to the transverse air flow. The burner is also provided with a slit box provided with parallel guide walls and connected to an air distribution box by means of a flanged connection, at the air distribution box outlet there is an air-regulating damper provided with a handle, and behind it there is a steel air-distributing grid with slots arranged in the corridor order with similar transverse and longitudinal pitches, and equipped with intensifier of turbulent air flow, inserted between two plates, the distance between them equals the width of the slit channel, and the area of the passage channels of air distributing grid exceeds the cross-sectional area of air-distributing box outlet by 0.4÷0.7 times, at that parallel guide walls of the slit box are lined inside with solid plates made of refractory material of profile shape with an expansion towards the slit box outlet, width of slit channel outlet is 1.6÷1.8 times greater than width of slit channel inlet.

EFFECT: reduction of incomplete chemical burning products and harmful substances content, reduction of flame level.
