FIELD: furniture industry, in particular, production of transformable upholstered furniture. SUBSTANCE: piece of furniture has casing with back and seat, extensible part with carcass and cushion. Casing sides are provided with guides for carrying carcass. Transformation mechanism is fixed on rigid cushion base and on side sheet-steel cylinders of carcass, and supporting-guiding members are positioned in guides. When piece of furniture is in seating position, cushion is positioned inside carcass of extensible part under seat, and extensible part is arranged at predetermined distance from floor. When piece of furniture is in lying position, cushion is moved by transformation mechanism rearward of seat for defining, in conjunction with it, single horizontal surface for lying, said cushion being held by supporting member. Roller stop is fixed at lower part of each side. Bracket with stop is attached through axis of rotation to supporting member of bearing lever, and stop restricting device is fixed on side sheet-steel cylinders of carcass.
