FIELD: water treatment by electrochemical methods; applicable in production of pure water and ecologically clean activated detergent, disinfecting and sterilizing solutions. SUBSTANCE: device has electrochemical reactor 1 with anode chamber 2 and cathode chamber 3 having inlets in lower parts and outlets in upper parts, initial water supply line and first discharge line 14 and second discharge line 15 of purified water. To extend functional potentialities of device, introduced into it are the first and second switches 8, 9 of reactor water flows operating in synchronism and installed at device inlet and outlet, respectively; the first and second switches 10,11 of purified water flows operating in synchronism, the first and second lines 12, 13 of purified water supply connected respectively with inlets of switches 10,11 and the first and second outlets 22,23 of switch 9. Additional line 24 of purified water supply is connected with outlet 22 of switch 9 and with second inlet 17 of switch 8. The first inlet of switch 8 is connected with line 4 of initial water supply. In this case, the first and second outlets 18,19 of switch 9 are connected, respectively, with inlets and outlets of anode chamber 2 and cathode chamber 3 of reactor 1, and the first and second discharge lines 14,15 are connected, respectively, with the first outlet 28 of switch 10, second outlet 31 of switch 11, second outlet 29 of switch 10 and the first outlet 30 of switch 11.
