SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for hardening powder-like lacquers by covering substrates with powder-like lacquers and irradiation by radiation in the near infrared region. Values of hardening time and/or temperature of surface attained by irradiation for the definite irradiation time of substrates covered by powder-like lacquers are regulated by the ratio of barium sulfate and/or aluminum oxide content in powder-like lacquers from 1 to 50 weight % and/or by control of ratio of carbon black in powder-like lacquers from 0.1 to 5 weight % being these weight percents relate to the total lacquer composition in each case.
