FIELD: application of heat insulation; manufacture of hermetic pressure vessels; chemical and food-processing industries; mechanical engineering; manufacture of reservoirs for beer and kvass during fermentation, final fermentation and maturing. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is used for application of heat insulation on apparatus having shells and spherical and conical bottoms; anticorrosive coat is applied on outer surface of shell after which thrust members are secured on outer surface of shell; thrust members are made in form of bars manufactured from heat-insulating material; bandages and waterproofing gasket are mounted on said bars and protective envelope is secured in place; then space between outer surface of apparatus and waterproofing gasket is filled with heat-insulating material; first, heat insulation is laid on conical bottom and is connected with shell, after which apparatus is positioned horizontally for turn around longitudinal axis; then, thrust members are mounted over end faces of shell; remaining members are shifted from center of coupling bandage through distance equal to 2-3 of widths of thrust member; ends of bandage band are connected by permanent joint after creation of mounting tension ensuring specific pressure on thrust members from 0.2 to 0.6 kgf/sq cm; protective envelope is secured on bandage by horizontal sections at height equal to width of protective envelope sheet; then apparatus is turned to position at which section of protective envelope takes lower position and coupling clips made from flexible material are mounted on outer surface of protective envelope in spaces between bandages till protective envelope sags inside space being filled by amount of subsequent sag in foaming of heat-insulating material and space between housing and waterproofing insulation is filled. EFFECT: low cost; increased productivity. 5 cl, 15 dwg
