PIPELINE HEAT INSULATION METHOD Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC F16L59/14

Abstract RU 2703897 C1

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transport and can be used in construction of underground or elevated pipelines transporting liquid or gaseous media with negative or positive temperature. Method of pipeline heat insulation includes equipping of pipeline heat-insulating coating by female yokes from elastic polymer material with T-shaped projections, for fixation of segments of heat insulation on pipeline surface, and inserts from heat-shrinking material, to ensure tight coverage of pipeline surface with clamps, as well as protective external polymer or steel shell with stiffness ribs, also fixed by means of T-shaped projections on yokes.

EFFECT: simplification of technology for application of heat-insulating coating, as well as increase of its mechanical strength and efficiency.
