FIELD: purifying exit gases from sulfur dioxide. SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of exit gases to three tandem purifying stages; first stage involves cleaning of exit gases in alkali solution environment; second stage is filtering stage; at third stage exit gases undergo wet purification under action of alkali solution. At first stage exit gases are fed in downstream forward flow to scrubber at temperature over 750 C and to alkali solution at not lower than 60 C. Proposed method enables purifying exit gases including those having hydrogen sulfide content over 0.15 volume percent. EFFECT: enhanced degree of exit gas purification from sulfuric compounds. 5 cl
