FIELD: rocketry and space engineering; rocket cryogenic stages. SUBSTANCE: proposed cryogenic stage includes upper, inter-tank and lower compartments, oxidizer and fuel tanks, cruise engine, instrument compartment, bearing compartment for mating the cryogenic stage with payload which is rigidly mounted on upper compartment; instrument compartment is made in form of at least one autonomous hermetic container located in recess of bearing compartment for mating of cryogenic stage with payload. EFFECT: reduced labor consumption; improved service and mass characteristics; facilitated procedure of dismantling stage and removal of defective instrument. 1 dwg
