FIELD: metallurgy; process of removal of phosphorus from mineral raw material; preparation of manganese ore for production of ferromanganese. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes grinding phosphorus-containing mineral raw material, preparation of pulp and leaching by aqueous solution of mineral acid. Prior to leaching, pulp is acted on by electric pulses mainly of nanosecond duration and power of 350-380 MW and voltage amplitude more than 260 kV.
