FIELD: generation of thermal energy due to cavitation process in liquid flow. SUBSTANCE: pressure in circulating loop at pump inlet is set according to working temperature of liquid in loop and preset geometry of working passage by maximum magnitude of heat release in cavitation heat generator, for example by maximum of derivative dq/dt, where q is amount of heat removed from heat generator as shown by heat counter limiting minimum pressure at pump inlet by magnitude ensuring its cavitation-free operation for working temperature in circulating loop; for obtaining global maximum of heat release, both temperature in circulating loop and pressure at pump inlet shall be regulated including periods of warming-up the loop from moment of starting the pump at discrete control of switching-on and switching-off of heat generator. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 cl, 1 dwg
