IRRIGATIVE COMPOSITION "GIDROELASTIC" FOR INTRAOCULAR APPLICATION Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

SUBSTANCE: invention proposes irrigative composition "Gidroelastic" for an intraocular application containing sodium chloride and water and, additionally, sodium buffer salts and water-soluble polymers taken in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: sodium chloride, 0.138-0.164 M; sodium buffer salts, 0.001-0.030 M; water-soluble polymers, 0.020-20.0; water, the balance, with pH value from 6.8 to 7.6 and viscosity value from 3 to 600 sSt. One variant of invention involves irrigative composition "Gidroelastic" for intraocular application comprises additionally medicinal agent and another variant involves irrigative composition with additional content of metal ions that are necessary for normal maintenance of metabolic processes in intraocular fluid. Invention provides reduction of irrigative trauma in surgery operations and, therefore, reduction of time for visual rehabilitation of patient after operation.
