FIELD: tire industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of manufacture of pneumatic tires. Proposed method provides for making of carcass including forming of one layer of carcass in form of strip. The latter includes great number of longitudinal and parallel thread-like members partially coated with layer of elastomer material. strip thus made is applied to toroidal support to which tape is connected, tread tape and pair of side walls from circumferential outer of carcass side. This done, tire is subjected to curing. Solid member is form of strip is applied to toroidal support by means of alternatingly applied sections, each being arranged in U-like manner around contour of cross-section of toroidal support to form two side sections arranged in planes orthogonal to geometric axis of rotation of toroidal support and top sections. Side sections are arranged at a distance relative to each other in axial direction. Top sections are arranged radially from outer side between side sections and are applied successively side by side along circumference of toroidal support. Each side section of each applied section is overlapped partially by side section of one of following applied sections. Description of two other tire making methods is provided.
