FIELD: mechanical engineering; turbocharged engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed engine contains intake and exhaust manifolds, at least one pair of turbocompressors, and muffler. According to invention, turbocompressors are installed coaxially with turbine sides towards each other for opposite rotation of turbine wheels and are adjusted to maximum torque of engine. Outlets of gases from turbines are interconnected by pipeline. Ring clearance is formed in middle of pipeline to let gases pass into muffler. With engine operating under conditions close to nominal ones, such arrangement of turbines decreases work and, consequently, decreases capacity of compressors. Thanks to it engine power drop caused by overloads in cylinder-piston group is prevented. EFFECT: improved efficiency of engine in operation. 2 cl, 3 dwg
