SUBSTANCE: proposed cutting unit includes receiving, intermediate and outlet grates with knives located between them, Working edge of each hole of receiving grate is saw-tooth in shape. Cutting edges of knives and holes of intermediate grate are wavy in shape due to availability of transversal grooves on working surface of blades; each groove has form of taper recess; larger bases of these grooves adjoin each other; central part of knife and all blades are made integral. Provided in central parts of receiving, intermediate and outlet grates are circular slots. Inner surface of holes of outlet grate has at last one projection with sharp edges.
