SUBSTANCE: picture elements have effective reflex surface in the form of two adjacent parallelograms equal in surface area which are disposed in mirror symmetry along line, in which separating barriers are set at certain angle to each other in vertical plane thereby enabling reduction of illumination between adjacent picture elements in vertical plane; enlarged length of picture-element insulating barriers enlarges phosphor surface area thereby enhancing brightness.
