SUBSTANCE: proposed ac surface-discharge plasma color panel of optimized design designed for use in data display systems including flat television sets with color plasma panels and high-definition video monitors has its adjacent lines provided with adjacent display elements with common display electrodes, and display elements of adjacent lines alternately function in image frame. Data input within two time intervals in each brightness subunit eliminates discharge initiation delay when addressing display elements thereby enhancing light effectiveness, image contrast throughout vertical plane of screen, reliable data input, and improved quality of data display.
EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability of panel as a whole.
