FIELD: food engineering. SUBSTANCE: coffee machine has brewing chamber and beverage exit. Valve is inserted between brewing chamber and beverage exit. Valve has seat and valve member, which is moved relative to seat by spring and may be displaced against force applied by spring under the action of coffee beverage flowing via valve. Coffee machine has device for adjusting displacement force applied by spring. Brewing water flows through coffee powder placed in brewing chamber at substantially constant speed within speed range selected by user regardless of coffee powder grain size. Such construction allows coffee machine operator or user to adjust amount of prepared coffee beverage per unit of time. EFFECT: simplified construction and increased efficiency. 23 cl, 6 dwg
