FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining background values of omegapotential (ω1). Then maximum deviation (ω2) during the first 5 s of arbitrary breathing hold is determined at maximum inhalation stage. The ω2-ω1 difference value is interpreted as intensity of omega-potential deviation Δω. The Δω value being less than -4 mV, normal neuromuscular transmission mode is considered to be the case. The Δω value being between -3 mV and 0 mV, excitation deficiency risk group is determined. The Δω value being greater than + 1 mV, neuromuscular transmission reliability drop is to be determined so that its severity degree is determined from known mathematical formula. EFFECT: high accuracy of the method usable in performing screening studies. 6 dwg
