FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out omegometric examination during the first 10 days of leptospirosis of various severity degree in quiet state in lead from the front area relative to the right hand tenar using chlorosilver electrodes. Discrete background omega potential values, its stabilization degree, stability, wave activity are recorded. Their values is equal to 60÷ -20 mV with destabilized background omega potential state, omega potential stability is equal to 13-15.8 mV and wave activity is equal to 13.6-15.0 waves per 10 min, heavy disease development course is to be predicted. The background omega potential is equal to -21 ÷ -40 mV with stabilized background omega potential state, omega potential stability being equal to 20.3-25.9 mV and wave activity is equal to 20.1-22.9 waves per 10 min, moderate disease development course is to be predicted.
