FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves excising muscles from transverse processes of cervical vertebrae. The cervical vertebrae are exposed and ligaments are notched between 5-6 or 4-5 vertebrae between the transverse processes. Sharp-ended scissor branch is introduced into the produced opening keeping close to the transverse processes and the transverse processes are transected one after another upwards and downwards from the frontal side. Then, one of the processes is bent outside and the arcs are excised from behind in the same order. EFFECT: high accuracy in detecting and differentiating fresh and old injuries. 2 dwg
