FIELD: medical engineering, particularly, manufacture of prostheses and prosthetics based of module principle of prosthesis designing. SUBSTANCE: artificial ankle joint has body with spherical socket and ball pin flexibly joined thereto, crus adapter and foot fastening devices. Body is made in form of cylindrical sleeve with flange. Connected to said sleeve one side is convex bottom embracing segment of spherical socket. Made from opposite side of said sleeve, on flange, in zone of contacts of adapter and sleeve is additional limiter of rotary motion in form of shoulder with slots receiving adapter internal ribs. Sleeve external surface has flat section and threaded section with stop step for foot fastening. EFFECT: provided module structure and minimized dimensions due to combination of functional loads of structure components. 7 dwg
