FIELD: experimental medicine; applicable in pulmonary ventilation in small laboratory animals. SUBSTANCE: method includes introduction of draining flexible pipes through incisions into both pleural cavities, sealing them in region of their passage through tissues of thoracic wall with application of purse-string sutures, connection of corrugated flexible bulbs in their compressed state to draining pipes; execution of alternating inhalation and exhalation by synchronous manual producing alternating positive and negative pressures in pleura cavities by means of bulbs. EFFECT: provided pulmonary ventilation with help of controlled breathing volume. 1 dwg
