SUBSTANCE: method involves reducing temperature of freshly drawn milk for 4-8 s after milking to 25-30 C and feeding milk into accumulating vessel, with artesian water being used as coolant; directing milk from accumulating vessel into cooling vessel and mixing with milk previously cooled to 8-12 C, the latter serving cold accumulator for newly delivered milk; cooling milk to temperature of up to 2-4 C.
