FIELD: machine engineering, constructions of reinforced concrete housings for machine tools, particularly lathes, namely exchange of housings cast or welded of cast iron and steel for reinforced concrete housings. SUBSTANCE: housing of metal working machine tool is in the form of reinforced concrete monolythic beam having reinforcing carcass, lengthwise guiding metallic cover strips joined with beam, anchor devices. The last are in the form of loop like fastening members mounted in body of beam. Connecting reinforcing rods are passed through loop like fastening members. In upper portion reinforced concrete monolythic beam has at least one port for cuttings and cutting fluid. In said port three-dimensional screen coupled with beam is inserted. End portions of loop like fastening members are secured to said guiding cover strips. Invention provides enhanced operation of all systems of machine tool. EFFECT: enhanced dynamic, vibroacoustic characteristics of machine tool, increased strength of housing, lowered deformation degree of machine tool parts at combined loads acting upon housing. 7 cl, 4 dwg
