FIELD: production of building materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of light filling agents. Raw mixture for production of light filling agent contains microsilica, sodium hydroxide aqueous solution and fly ash from brown coals combustion of Irsha-Borodin deposit of Kansk-Achinsk coal field with content of free calcium oxide 3-13 wt.-% in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: microsilica, 51.5-52.5; sodium hydroxide aqueous solution, 42.2; fly ash, 5.3-6.3. Raw mixture contains 11.9 wt.-% of sodium hydroxide as measured for Na2O and water in the amount 30.3% of mass of dry mixture components. Method for production of light filling agent using indicated mixture involves preparing raw mixture, heating prepared mixture before its granulation to 85 C, exposition at continuous stirring at this temperature for 15 min, granulation and thermal treatment of formed granules at 300-400 C for 20 min. Invention provides reduction of bulk density and duration of thermal treatment, enhanced strength and hardiness of filling agent.
