FIELD: instrumentation engineering, design of portable professional aids detecting and measuring ionizing radiation. SUBSTANCE: device which incorporates power supply source, grounding bus, radiation detector connected to grounding bus, high-voltage converter and pulse former coupled to power supply source and grounding bus and digital indicator is supplemented with reference voltage source, programmed microcontroller and voltage amplifier coupled to power supply source and grounding bus, R divider and operational amplifier connected to grounding bus. Reference voltage source and R divider are connected to separate inputs of operational amplifier, output of operational amplifier is connected to input of high-voltage converter, outputs of high-voltage converter and R divider are connected to input of radiation detector. Input of pulse former is coupled to output of radiation detector. Input of programmed microcontroller is connected to output of pulse former, outputs of programmed microcontroller are connected to proper inputs of voltage amplifier and outputs of voltage amplifier are coupled to corresponding inputs of digital indicator.
