FIELD: registration of ionizing radiation.

SUBSTANCE: radiation monitor belongs to radiometric devices of individual usage for signalization and registration of admissible gamma and X-ray radiation dose. Radiation monitor has ionizing radiation gas-discharge detector which has output connected with inputs of detector's power unit and signaling unit through current amplifier. Control input of signaling unit is connected with output of re-counting unit which is connected with digital indicator. Radiation meter also has former delay line, inverter and AND gate. Duration of output pulse of former equals to pulse duration from detector. Delay time of delay line equals to pulse front duration from detector. Input of former and first input of AND gate are connected with output of amplifier. Output of former is connected with second input of AND gate through delay line and inverter connected in series. Output of AND gate is connected with input of re-counting unit.

EFFECT: improved precision of measurement; elimination of false pulses from detector.
