FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: the detector is calibrated in two stages. At the first stage, linear calibration of detector scale is carried out by the spectrum of gamma-lines in the low-energy region from 1 to 10 Mev, and at the second stage, LED calibration is used for transition to the nonlinear detector response. The device for calibrating the high-energy scintillation detector consists of two channels of a current pulse generator for LEDs having a radiation wavelength corresponding to maximum of radiation spectrum of scintillation crystal, and placed in integrating semi-sphere which is connected to the detector by means of an optical cable.
EFFECT: absolute calibration of energy scale of the high-energy scintillation detector over the entire power scale of the device.
