FIELD: computer engineering; image processing. SUBSTANCE: proposed methods include generation of blocking information for reducing blocking effect and fringe information for reducing fringe noise from factors of predetermined pixels of data block boundary areas. Image data passed through inverted quantization and inverted digital cosine transformation according to generated blocking information and fringe information are subjected to adaptive filtration in the process.
