FIELD: cosmetology. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with cosmetic compositions containing combined copolymer of methacrylic acid and C1-C4-alkylacrylate in cosmetically acceptable medium, and oil chosen among synthetic ones, esters of C3-C14-acids containing, as a whole, below 20 carbon atoms, vegetable oils where the content of palmitoleic acid is either above or equal to 0.2 weight% against oil weight. The compositions mentioned are used, in particular, to wash and/or take care of keratin materials such as hair or skin. Moreover, hair becomes of good cosmetic properties, for example, improved capacity for brushing, better lightness, smoothness and softness, etc. It is, also, suggested the method for washing and, also, a conditioner - the abovementioned combined copolymer of methacrylic acid and C1-4-alkylacrylate.
